Career Opportunities at Teddy Bear’s Playhouse

From time to time Teddy Bear’s Playhouse child care and pre-school centers has a need to hire employees in lead and non-lead positions. We accept applications at all of our locations during regular business hours.

In order to be considered for a preschool teacher position, you must have a minimum of 12 semester hours in early childhood education/development, 1 year of full time experience working professionally with young children, a current CPR/First Aid certificate and a Fingerprint Clearance.

Other qualifying educational backgrounds include, a valid CDA, a Montessori credential, an Associate’s degree or higher in early childhood education or child development, or a Bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, or a child-related field.

During the interview process, the Center’s Director will discuss these requirements further and help you obtain the necessary training and fingerprinting, if needed.
To be considered for a Lead infant/toddler teaching position you must meet 1 of the qualifying educational/experiences listed above and have at least 3 semester hours in infant/toddler development and care practices. Please contact your local center for more information.

We prefer experience and an educational background for all non-lead positions, but the final decision is made by each center’s Director. If you feel you would make a great addition to our dedicated professional staff, please complete the application, print, sign, and bring the completed application to the location that is most convenient to you.

We look forward to meeting with you!
